    Comments about Steri-Pen Water Bottle Pre-filter:

    Does a great job filtering lake water which has bugs, leaves, etc. in it. Not needed for flowing stream water which usually runs clean and clear. Not good for silty water. The silt is too fine and it flows through the mesh. Silt needs time to settle to the bottom of the water bottle.
