      Comments about Triple Eight Bumsaver:

I bought the Bumsaver for my son who started snowboarding lessons this winter. After his first lesson - without the Bumsaver - he was not too keen on more rides because his rear was quite sore but with the help of his new padded gear he was able to enjoy the slopes again. As a beginner, he had quite few crashes and it saved him from more bruises and possibly an injured tailbone. The only negative is a certain lack of ventilation. My son felt rather hot wearing the Bumsaver but it wasn't so uncomfortable that he wanted to take it off. IMO a good product and a must for every skiing/snowboarding novice.

        Comments about Triple Eight Bumsaver:

If you are learning to snowboard, you need bum protection! You will fall on your heal side turn - and when you do, having a little extra protection in the bum is very beneficial!! It is also warm! That little extra bit of protection between your bum and the cold snow will keep you out on the hill longer. btw - these should be worn snuggly.

        Comments about Triple Eight Bumsaver:

The pad is not very thick in padding but can help with slides and scrapes. It also keeps you warm. The fit runs small so just buy one size larger. I'm about 5'3" and 125lbs and I wear a medium, it still feels a bit tight on me. Other than that I like it and would recommend it.

I've found it definitely helps when I fall, but the fabric outside the EVA foam rips very easily. It under all my clothes so it doesn't show, but it works!!!
