Paragon Sports is New York City's finest sports specialty store. Periodically, we are able to add staff members to our team of talented associates in both sales and operational capacities. Open House Hiring Events
We do our screening and hiring on site and in person, at what we call Open House Hiring Events. (Please note - we are currently unable to accept applications or resumes online.)

Be highly active and skilled as a participant in the sport or outdoor activity that you would be selling the gear for.
Have a previous retail sales background.
Have fairly open availability, including weekends
Life at Paragon Sports
When enjoying time outside of the store, Paragon associates can be found in their native habitats: on softball and soccer fields, running trails, climbing walls, mountain tops, ice rinks, and basketball courts. Paragon Sports teams and activities give associates a chance to share new experiences and further hone their skills. With so much to do in and around NYC, there's something for everyone!
Paragon Sports will hold a Hiring Open House Event on
Tuesday, April 2nd, from 3:00 to 4:00PM on the lower level of our store, 18th & Broadway, in Manhattan. Positions available include: Concierge, Athletic Footwear Sales, Children's Apparel and Footwear Sales, Outdoor Clothing, Fitness, and Fitting Room. Our sales positions require in-depth knowledge and current participation in the category that you are selling the gear for. We seek fit athletes, who are currently participating in the sport, are aware of the latest technology in the category, participate in local competitive events if applicable, etc. Experience in high school is not considered relevant. Previous retail experience is a plus.
We offer a full range of benefits for associates hired in to permanent positions, including a generous associate discount on purchases. Most schedules amount to between 25 and 29 hours a week for sales positions . There is a requirement to have fairly open availability, and weekends are required.

It is a requirement to dress in a professional manner and bring a pen to fill out the application. If you have a resume it will be reviewed but it is not a requirement.
