Paragon Sports Runners Club

Every Tuesday at 6:30pm

Join us every Tuesday night at 6:30 as we run through the streets of NYC. This is a free run and is open to everyone. The runs will typically take us from the store over to the West Side Highway path and occasionally to the track on the East River. We are offering a 3 mile and a 5 mile option each week and different pacers to accommodate every level of runner. We are also offering bag check, so if you come right from work, we will hold your things for you while you run! Put it on your calendar and tell all of your friends. Let’s Go Running!

Paragon Sports Speed Series, Sponsored by Nike

Every Wednesday at 6:30pm, March 24^th – October 27^th, 2010

Ring in the New Year with a new resolution! Join us for the Paragon Sports Speed Series Sponsored by Nike on Wednesdays and prepare to see your running times drop to all time lows! Runs begin at Paragon at 6:30pm and will finish at the store at 7:45pm. Workouts vary in length, but all abilities are welcome. When you return from the run, enjoy complimentary fruit, bagels and camaraderie with your fellow runners. Whoever drops the most time over the 3 month training run period, will receive a Nike running prize package! So lace up your running shoes (or trial some courtesy of Nike) and get ready to hit the pavement in 2010!

Tuesday adidas Training Runs

Every Tuesday at 6:30pm, May 4^th – June 29^th, 2010

Join us Tuesday nights for our adidas sponsored training runs, starting May 4th - June 29th. The runs start at 6:15pm and are geared for everyone - elite, moderate and beginner runners alike. Our pacers will lead you on a jog to the West Side Highway for a 3 or a 5 miler, whichever you choose. As an added bonus, run 6 times and receive 50% off a pair of adidas running shoes!

adidas Grand Prix Track and Field Event

Saturday, June 12^th, 2010 3:30-6:30pm, Icahn Stadium - Randall’s Island, NY

Watch the fastest runners on the planet race at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island June 12th, 2010. The adidas Grand Prix, formerly known as the Reebok Grand Prix, will be the fifth stop on the inaugural IAAF Diamond League circuit and will be held at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island. Track and field athletes from around the world will come to participate; last year Usain Bolt set a World Record, and will again be competing in the 100meter. In addition to professional athletes, elite high school runners will be competing as well. Visit the Paragon Sports and adidas booths to test your speed against Usain Bolt and Tyson Gay’s times and check out official event merchandise!
