Warren Miller’s Dynasty at Symphony Space (95th St. & Broadway)

November 22nd, 5pm and 8pm

Warren Miller’s 60th annual feature film event highlights world class skiers and snowboarders showcasing their talents in awe inspiring locations. This year’s film takes you on a breathtaking global tour of some of the world’s most impressive terrain, including Alaska, Norway, California, Colorado, China, British Columbia and more. All attendees will receive a free lift ticket vouchers to Gore Mountain and Jiminy Peak (some restrictions apply). Attendees also receive Warren Miller’s Snow World Magazine and a year’s free subscription to Skiing Magazine. There will also be a raffle give away for some great prizes. Purchase tickets at Paragon Sports. $21 for Adults, $16 for children under 12. Tickets will be available for purchase through November 21st. There will be no day of show tickets sold at Paragon.

    Every Wednesday at 6:30pm, January 7th – October 28th, 2009

    Ring in the New Year with a new resolution! Join us for Wednesday Nike training runs and prepare to see your running times drop to all time lows! Runs begin at Paragon at 6:30pm and will finish at the store at 7:45pm. Workouts vary in length, but all abilities are welcome. When you return from the run, enjoy complimentary fruit, bagels and camaraderie with your fellow runners. Whoever drops the most time over the 3 month training run period, will receive a Nike running prize package! So lace up your running shoes (or trial some courtesy of Nike) and get ready to hit the pavement in 2009!

    Climb with Marmot Athlete Kevin Jorgeson

    Saturday, October 17th, 2009 11:30am - 5pm

    Come into Paragon between 10/10 and 10/16 to pick up your free climbing entry for one of three time slots to climb with Marmot’s Kevin Jorgeson at the Climbing Gym at Chelsea Piers. Available time slots are 11:30am-1pm, 1pm-2:30pm and 2:30-4pm and each slot will be limited to the first 30 people. After you finish up at the gym, head on over to Paragon Sports to enter our raffle for your chance to win a Marmot Tent, Sleeping Bag and Backpack (Grand Prize), a Marmot Jacket, Gloves & Hat (First Prize) or one of 20 Marmot hats (2nd Prize).

    Puma Speed Trap

    How do you match up against World Record sprinter Usain Bolt? Join us at the Puma Speed Trap at 23rd St. and 5th Ave. on 10/18 and find out! Try on a pair of Puma footwear and test yourself at a timed 100 yard dash. Receive a 10% off coupon to Paragon just for trying on shoes!     Monday adidas Training Runs

    Every Monday at 6:30pm, September 14th – October 19th, 2009

    Join us Monday nights for the adidas Training Runs starting September 14th – October 19th. The run starts at 6:30pm and is geared for everyone - elite, moderate and beginner runners alike. Our pacers will lead you on a jog to the West Side Highway for a 5K or a 5 miler, whichever you choose. As an added bonus, run 3 out of the 6 weeks and receive a free pair of adidas Supernova Sequence II running shoes. Also, receive a free pair of adidas Formation socks with the trial of Sequence II running shoe.
