New to this version is Volkl's Super G grommet system which enables the strings to soak up more vibrations and transfer more power to the ball. The result, according to our playtesters, is a comfortably crisp and lively feel that rewards groundstrokes with controllable power and tons of spin. The 295g (10.4 oz.) weight allows for big swings by those without big muscles, and a 6 point head light balance makes it extremely maneuverable at net. A 24mm beam is just wide enough to add a little power without being in the way on topspin groundies, and a 104 square inch head provides a powerful and forgiving response with control. The new Super G grommet system incorporates Volkls patented V-Sponse material in construction.
